Queen Kristina Augusta of Sweden (18th December 1626 to 19th April 1689).
Queen Kristina has long been one of my driving historical crushes. They were intelligent, well read, curious, experimental, a gifted negotiator, and an all around captivating individual. Kristina was incredibly modern and driven by their own strong sense of self. Often at the cost of the opinion of powerful contemporaries, they followed just what it was that they felt was best for themselves. They eventually abdicated from the Swedish throne as they wanted to live the rest of their life in rest and did not want to burden the swedes with a monarch who could no longer handle the position.
They are often considered to be a symbol intersex and transgender individuals in history, and I am proud to think of them as my historical crush. <3

NBC’s Community may be in a state of potential cancellation, but before I dive deep into my art hole on new year client-projects, I wanted to knock out something fun. If you’re not a fan of the show already—get on it.
